Spanish School Excursions and Activities

NicaSpan by being situated in the capital of the Nicaraguan folklore offers excellent opportunities to learn about the local culture and traditions. The Spanish school offers to its students a well organized program of activities and excursions to be done in the opposite shift of their academic Spanish instruction. Activities and excursions are not mandatory but recommended to get immersed into culture and the practice of the Spanish language by interaction. During the activities and the excursions, students are accompanied either by a field or an academic instructor. This facilitates the interaction as part of the learning and practice of the Spanish language.

One of the main purposes of our interactive program of activities is that our students learn more about the culture increase their spanish vocabulary, have fun by trying the elaboration of some of the handicrafts instructed by the artisan in the workshops, practice their Spanish and learn by doing and interacting in an active and participative way.

The activities are not done in a tourist way, the students experience the social and cultural reality of Nicaragua. That fact makes us different from other spanish schools, the pioneer Spanish school in Masaya.
